Statement of Purpose (07, 12, 2012)

Dear principals from Cal State Fullerton,


I am a student in High School at Brazil and I want to become a successful economist, when I get older. I know that in order to achieve my goals, I have to prepare myself to do it. And the best way of preparing myself for my future is studying in the US, the first university which came up to my mind was California State University Fullerton. I heard back in Brazil much information about its quality and structure.


I have some skills which will help me to be a excellent student, so it will be a good relation for both me and the university. I am hardworking and I made a lot of Summer Camps in America and Canada. This will also help me because now I know more about the culture of the United States, which will make me adapt better to life in America. In my little course in Fullerton I learned even more about culture and about academic things, such as debates, pronunciation, and writing. All of these skills will make me a successful student and a successful professional in the future. I hope that CSUF will give me support in my journey. 

Manning or Romo?

Despite, the momentum which Eli Manning is living in his career, not everyone thinks he is one of the tops quarterbacks in NFL. Brioso (2012) reports that Amani Toomer, former wide receiver, states that the New York Giants' quarterback is not the best QB in the NFC East. Toomer, who played five seasons with the Super Bowl champion QB, says that if you look statistically, Tony Romo is the best NFC East's player in hia postion. Tim Ryan agreed with Toomer in the point that Romo is a top QB, but he prefers Eli Manning. Toomer again said that Romo is worthier, as he is more constant and throws less interceptions, however he is not as clutch as Eli. Considering the postseason, one can observe a huge difference between the two QBs, as Eli is a two-time Super Bowl MVP and Romo has a 1-3 record.

I am a student in Brazil and I want to fulfill my dream of being a economist in the US. I attend High School in my school, the Colegio Dante Alighieri. I know that, in order to achieve my goals, I have to begin to prepare my future. As I want to be really successful in life and I always seek going beyond, I wish to attend a      good university in the US. My first thought was Cal State University Fullerton, as I heard about its structure and I am very satisfied about it.

I have some skills which will make me a good student, as I am very dedicated and will work hard to achieve all my goals and dreams.  I am writing this for a college application to Cal State University Fullerton because I think this is the best support for me, in order to have success in my life and become a famous economist.
